EU waters and the Atlantic coast as standard — which covers the Algarve, Lisbon, Galicia, the Bay of Biscay, the Mediterranean and down to Morocco / the Canaries. Wider Atlantic crossings (to the Caribbean) require a delivery extension.
Agreed Value. We document the boat’s market value upfront based on make, year, condition and any recent survey — and that’s what gets paid in a total loss. No depreciation surprises.
Private pleasure use is included as standard, including loaning the boat to named friends or family. Commercial / paid charter is a different rating class and we’ll quote it separately.
Yes. Most owners reduce premium with an out-of-water / lay-up clause from November to March. Cover continues against fire, theft and storm while ashore.
Yes — all the main Algarve and Lisbon-area marinas accept the Yachtsman schedule and IPID for berth registration. We send the paperwork in the format the marina office expects.
