Common questions about golf cover

Yes — provided the boot was locked. The policy covers theft from a locked vehicle, clubhouse locker, hotel room or storage facility. We recommend never leaving clubs visible in the cabin of a car.
Yes with the golf-travel extension. It covers your equipment in the aircraft hold (a common excluded zone on standard travel policies), green fees if you can’t play due to illness or injury, plus standard travel-medical and cancellation cover.
Witnessed by a playing partner and signed off on a scorecard, on a recognised course of ≥3,000 yards / par 65 minimum. We pay a fixed contribution to the bar bill — the amount depends on the plan tier.
Yes. The EUR 2M third-party liability covers personal injury and property damage caused by your play — from a stray shot, a swung club, or even a trolley running off.
Most home and travel policies cap sporting equipment at EUR 500 or exclude it from the hold on flights. If your kit is worth more than that, or you travel with clubs, a dedicated golf policy will pay where the others don’t.
